Looking through my older stores and computer graphics files I see things that should go to the recycle bin, and really there are some that will get trashed, but others are a base to create something new and much more wonderful.
My little mouse was originally rendered from a 3D model in Daz Studio and digitally painted over (or should that be splodged!) back in 2009.
Eager to help this little soul shake off the shadows, grow some fur and and sort that nose thing out, I grab my tablet and pen in the hope of sprucing him up enough to proudly pose on a new set of products yet to be created.
I used both the smudge tool and digital painting techniques to create his fluffy new fur. Made new rims and glass for his spectacles, tailored new clothes and went to town on that weird nose ...a complete re-draw was the only way to deal with that!
Finally to match his smart new togs I created him a beautiful shiny silver pocket watch from scratch.
As for the result, I am so pleased with the way he's turned out, now I just need to create a setting befitting of his new appearance.
This is just a very quick introductory post to welcome you to my blog pages. I hope in time it will become a mini story of my journey into the wonderful online craft community that is growing rapidly in the UK.
Although not new to selling my art and designs, creating actual physical products to sell is a whole new adventure for me, so I think it may lead to many a tale to tell. I love to try new things and experiment and definitely tire quickly with repetitive stuff so heaven knows what's going to end up in my store!
